Hi, I'm Marlene!

A Zimbabwean explorer, speaker and cucumber enthusiast based in the city of Harare. I'm an advocate for using science and technology for social good and increasing diversity in these fields.

In 2017, I co-founded ZimboPy, a non-profit organisation that gives Zimbabwean young women access to resources in the field of technology. I'm a director and vice-chair for the Python Software Foundation, and the chair of PyCon Africa. I'm also currently pursuing a computer science degree with the University of London. If you'd like to get in touch with me, you can, here.
